Dr. Daniel Stewart

Dr. Daniel Stewart's work experience includes serving as the Chief Executive Officer for ViridiCO2 Ltd. since December 2020. Dr. Daniel was previously an EPSRC Impact Acceleration Award Research Fellow at the University of Southampton from July 2020 to October 2021, where they researched scale-up protocols of sustainable, heterogeneous, CO2 utilisation catalysts. Dr. Daniel also worked as a PHD Researcher at the same university from September 2016 to June 2020. Additionally, Dr. Stewart was an ICURe Entrepreneurial Lead for Team Viridi CO2 at SETsquared Partnership from August 2020 to February 2021. Their earlier experience includes working as a Landscape Operative for PROMOW LANDSCAPES LIMITED from June 2011 to September 2017 and as a Recruitment Consultant for IC Resources from June 2015 to May 2016. Dr. Daniel also served as a Research Student at the Georgia Institute of Technology from June 2014 to December 2014, focusing on chemical control of negative thermal expansion. Additionally, they were a Research Student at the University of Southampton from October 2013 to June 2014, conducting research on the total synthesis of a (\u00b1)-galanthamine analogue. In July 2013, Dr. Stewart participated in the Organic Summer School as a student.

Dr. Daniel Stewart's education history includes a Master's Degree in Chemistry from the University of Southampton, which they obtained from 2011 to 2015. Dr. Daniel also engaged in a Master's Thesis Research Project in Inorganic Chemistry at the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2014. Although the degree name is not specified for this research project, it is noted that they achieved First Class Honours. Prior to their university education, Dr. Stewart pursued A-Levels at Queen Mary's College from 2009 to 2011. Their earlier education includes obtaining GCSEs from Cranbourne Business & Enterprise College, which they completed from 2004 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Dr. Stewart possesses two certifications. Dr. Daniel became a Level 3 Hockey Umpire in March 2017, certified by England Hockey Ltd. Furthermore, in January 2021, they obtained membership from the Royal Society of Chemistry, a prestigious institution in their field.
