Karim Lassel

Karim Lassel, an accomplished professional in the hydrocarbon exploration sector, currently serves as the Senior Vice-President of Global Sales & Commercial Coordination at Viridien since December 2011, where previous roles include Vice-President and Geomarket Director. Prior to Viridien, Karim worked at Spectraseis AG from July 2008 to November 2011, progressing from Senior Sales Manager to Business Development Director, focusing on introducing proprietary technologies to oil companies. An extensive background at Schlumberger from February 1992 to July 2008 included managing global accounts and regional operations, alongside roles as a Country Manager in the Netherlands and as a petrophysicist in Norway. Karim holds multiple degrees, including a Master’s from Mines Paris - PSL and an Executive Development Program completed at CEDEP.
