Madhurima Bhattacharya

Madhurima Bhattacharya is a seasoned geoscientist with extensive experience in Sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East. Currently serving as a Geoscience Advisor for Earth Data at VIRIDIEN since June 2024, Madhurima has also held various positions at CGG since January 2014, including Senior Geoscientist and Geoscientist, specializing in the same regions. Prior to this, Madhurima worked at Fugro Robertson Ltd as a Petroleum Geologist from December 2007 to December 2013, leading large multi-disciplinary projects across diverse geological terrains such as the Arctic, SW Africa, Northern Kurdistan, and the Black Sea. Academic background includes a Master's degree in Petroleum Geoscience from The University of Manchester and a Bachelor's degree in Geology from Fergusson College.
