Simone Agostini

Simone Agostini has a diverse work experience in the field of data engineering and geosciences. They started their career in 2013 with an internship in Formation Evaluation at Weatherford. They then joined Università degli Studi "G. d'Annunzio" Chieti - Pescara for a Leonardo Lifelong Learning Programme. Since 2015, Simone has been working at CGG, initially as a Senior Geoscientist - Structural Geologist and later transitioning into roles as a Data Engineer and currently as a Lead Data Engineer.

Simone Agostini obtained a Bachelor of Science in Scienze Geologiche from Università degli Studi 'Gabriele d'Annunzio' di Chieti in 2003. Later, they completed an MSc in Structural Geology and Geodynamics from the same university in an unspecified year before 2008. From 2009 to 2012, Simone pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Structural Geology from Università degli Studi 'Gabriele d'Annunzio' di Chieti. They also had a visiting research experience at UCL in the field of Active Tectonics in an unspecified year before 2010. Additionally, Simone Agostini has acquired various certifications in different fields, mainly related to data analysis, project management, and software programming.
