Geneviève Constancis

Geneviève Constancis is a board member at Viridis Terra. Geneviève previously served as president of CILC Québec from July 2014 to May 2015. In this role, they oversaw the engineering of large-scale wood products and the patented BSB invisible assembly technology, which is faster, more precise, and more resistant than traditional assembly methods. From October 2010 to July 2014, they were the director of natural resources and territory for the Conférence régionale des élus du Bas-Saint-Laurent, coordinating work and consultation on development issues related to natural resources and territory. Geneviève also advised the general management and board of directors on issues related to these subjects. Geneviève has experience working with regional and provincial partners, as well as with actors in the forestry, wood processing, and political sectors. Prior to their work with the Conférence régionale des élus du Bas-Saint-Laurent, they served as an agent of development for the wood industry with CRÉ du BSL from May 2005 to October 2010, and as the head of the forestry engineering department with MRC de Matane from May 2000 to May 2005.

Geneviève Constancis has a baccalauréat in Génie forestier- Aménagement et environnement forestier from The University of British Columbia and a baccalauréat in Génie Forestier - Aménagement et environnement Forestier from Université Laval.
