Karl Sarmiento

Karl Sarmiento is a skilled professional in the field of biological and bioprocess engineering, currently serving as a Manufacturing Officer at ViroCell Biologics since October 2023. In this role, Karl contributes to the manufacture of viral vectors and gene-modified cells for innovative cell and gene therapies. Previously, as a Manufacturing Scientist at 4basebio from February 2022 to October 2023, Karl assisted in cGMP production of synthetic DNA products, demonstrating expertise in aseptic techniques and bioprocessing.
