Haifeng Chen

Haifeng Chen began their career in 1985 as a Researcher at Sun Yat-sen University. In 1996, they moved to Cell Genesys as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Haifeng then joined Genovo as a Senior Scientist in 1997, followed by Avigen as a Research Scientist IV in 2000. In 2005, they were appointed Vice President at Asklepois BioPharmaceutical, Inc. In 2006, they founded and became CEO of Virovek, Inc., a company specializing in customized AAV vector design and production.

Haifeng Chen obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology from Sun Yat-sen University from 1978 to 1982. Haifeng then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MS) in Plant Genetics from Sichuan University from 1982 to 1985. Lastly, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Virology from the Universität des Saarlandes from 1989 to 1992.
