Sean Van Den Berg

Sean van den Berg has an extensive work experience history. Sean is currently serving as the Senior Director of R&D Product Innovation at Virox Technologies Inc., where they manage the product portfolio and packaging operation, as well as develops and analyzes potential R&D chemistry and microbiology operations. Prior to this role, Sean held the position of Director of R&D Product Portfolios at Virox, where they managed the product portfolio and aligned R&D developments in various markets.

Earlier in their career, Sean worked at McMaster University as a Research Assistant and Graduate Student, where they conducted research on organic compounds and mentored undergraduate students. Sean also held the position of R&D Chemist at Radient Technologies Inc. and served as a Senior Analyst/Project Manager at BrandIntel / BrandProtect.

Sean van den Berg received a Master of Science degree in Organic Synthesis from McMaster University from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from McGill University from 2002 to 2006.
