Cavit Agca

Cavit Agca is currently a Director of Molecular Biology at Virscio and a Faculty Member at Sabancı University. They have led research efforts as a Research Group Leader at the SUNUM-Sabancı University Nanotechnology Research and Application Center since 2023. Cavit completed postdoctoral research focused on retinal diseases at multiple institutions, including the University of California, University of Bern, University Hospital Basel, and MD Anderson Cancer Center between 2008 and 2019. They earned a Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Boğaziçi University and a PhD in Developmental Biology from Louisiana State University.
