Alberto Nonini

Head, Service & Support at VirtaMed

Alberto Nonini has over fifteen years of experience in the automation and steel industries. Alberto started their career as a Senior Product Engineer for Danieli Automation, where they were in charge of instrumentation and special sensors for the steel industry. In this role, they were responsible for feasibility studies, electrical and mechanical HW design, project scheduling, risk assessment and safety design, supervision of internal and external designers, and technical documentation. Alberto also provided sales support, including proposals, presentations, customer site inspections, and technical support during commercial negotiations. In addition, they managed projects, including progress meetings with customers, project coordination, and customer follow-up during all phases of the project. Alberto also provided service support, including erection & commissioning support, customer care, remote assistance, and product improvement based on customer feedback.

In July 2016, Alberto Nonini took on the role of Head of Service & Support at VirtaMed. In this role, they are responsible for leading a team of service engineers who provide support for VirtaMed products worldwide. Alberto is also responsible for developing and maintaining service processes and procedures, as well as managing the service budget.

Alberto Nonini reports to Raimundo Sierra, CEO & Co-Founder. Alberto Nonini works with Diana Yuan - General Manager, China, Daniel Bachofen - COO & Founder, and Elisabet Lund - CFO. A direct report to Alberto Nonini is and Brice Mourer - Service & Support Technician.
