Ahmed Abou Raya

Ahmed Abou Raya has worked in the software engineering field since 2005. Ahmed began their career as a Java Developer at ITG-Egypt. In 2007, they moved to NTG Clarity as a Senior Java Developer (BSS/OSS). In 2009, they joined Oracle as a Senior Consultant (OSS). During their time there, they worked on Oracle OSS Stack projects as an Architect or Team Leader. In 2017, they moved to Aurea Software as a Java Software Architect. At Aurea, they designed and developed solutions focused on reliability, manageability, scalability, extensibility, performance, and reuse. In 2019, they joined Melita Ltd. as a Java Software Architect. At Melita, they designed and delivered a complete solution for IOT-Triggers system. In 2021, they moved to Virtasant as a Senior Software Engineer. At Virtasant, they are responsible for building a fault-tolerant and infinitely scalable platform that is capable of processing information from hundreds of sources.

Ahmed Abou Raya obtained a Post Graduate degree in Computer Science from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport between 2006 and 2009. In 2016, they obtained a Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance in May. In 2013, they obtained a Business Development Manager Certification from the TM Forum in March. In 2004, they obtained a Sun Certified Java Programmer certification from Sun Microsystems in July.
