John W.

John W. has extensive work experience in the software and technology industry. John began their career in 2004 as a Software Developer & Architect for 118118. In 2006, they worked as a Software Consultant for Johnson & Johnson, followed by a role as a Consultant Lead Software Architect for Grontmij Group in 2008. In 2009, they were a Software Development Consultant for Universal Music Publishing Group. In 2010, they founded SSH browser technology startup Njutrino, which they exited in 2012. That same year, they founded Sappsuma / App.Foundation, where they served as Founder / CTO. In 2018, they founded Starfish (working title), a system built for brick and mortar locations, where they served as Founder / Lead Architect / CTO. Currently, they are the Director of Solution Architecture for Virtasant, a role they have held since 2022.

John W. is currently enrolled in the Executive MBA program at Quantic School of Business and Technology. Previously, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd in 2003. Additionally, John has obtained two certifications from Microsoft: a Microsoft Application Developer (MCAD) certification in July 2005 and a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer (MCSD) certification in July 2005.
