Sean F.

Sean F. is a senior data scientist at Virtasant, bringing over 8 years of experience in machine learning, statistical modeling, data analysis, and automation. Previously, Sean worked as a data scientist at Statistics Canada, where they deployed machine learning models to optimize sampling strategies and collaborated with Western University on advanced data modeling. Sean has also held positions as a data analyst at Brock University, an analyst at Mohegan, and as a data scientist at MLSE, where they focused on NHL tracking data. In addition to their technical expertise, Sean was a former athlete, serving as team captain and most valuable defenceman for the Niagara Falls Canucks in Hockey Canada. Sean holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Statistics from Brock University and is currently pursuing a degree in Data Science from Harvard University.
