Ginny Rentko is an accomplished veterinary professional with extensive leadership experience in both academic and corporate settings. Currently serving as the Chief Veterinary Medical Officer at Animal Biosciences, Inc. since May 2019, Rentko focuses on strategic development of drugs aimed at enhancing healthspan and longevity in animals, while fostering research partnerships and designing critical studies for drug discovery. Prior roles include Medical Director at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, where Rentko managed the operations of a large veterinary teaching hospital with fiscal oversight of a multi-million dollar budget, and Medical Director at Tufts Veterinary Emergency Treatment and Specialties. Rentko has also held the position of Vice President of Preclinical Research at Biopure Corporation, leading the development of innovative veterinary therapeutics and overseeing regulatory processes. Educational credentials include a VMD from the University of Pennsylvania, a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Boston University, and a Master's degree in Zoology from The Ohio State University.
