Cole's extensive experience at IPG Photonics and Laser Depth Dynamics involved roles from Director of Operations and Development to Software Engineer, contributing to the integration of advanced monitoring systems. Educational credentials include a PhD and Master's in Physics from Queen's University and the University of Ottawa, respectively, complemented by research in optical coherence tomography and numerical techniques for laser applications.
