Jake Reder has had a long and successful career in the medical and business industries. Jake began their career in 2001 as an Advisor for PolyTechnos Venture Partners, where they led technical diligence on various projects. In 2002, they became the New Business Development Manager for Cabot Corporation, where they launched their printed electronics business and optical composites platform. In 2008, they began working at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth as the Director of New Ventures. In this role, they oversaw $5M in funding, led the creation of an endowment, and mentored the first Kauffman Fellow Finalist in Geisel/DMS history. In 2011, they became a Director at VIRTICI LLC. In 2018, they became the Chairman of CairnSurgical, Inc., a venture-backed clinical stage company. Finally, in 2022, they became the Chairman of Aclys Bio. Throughout their career, Jake Reder has been a recognized leader in the medical and business industries.

Jake Reder obtained a B.Sc. in Chemistry from the University of Waterloo between 1993 and 1997. Jake then attended Purdue University from 1997 to 2002, where they earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry. During this time, they also attended Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München from 1999 to 2002.
