Mike Thompson

Mike Thompson has over 35 years of work experience in technical sales, marketing, and consulting roles. Mike currently works as a Technical Marketing Manager at Virtium LLC. Prior to that, they held various roles at EZ Comp Consulting, including VP Technical Sales and Marketing, Sr Director Sales Engineering, and Technical Marketing Engineer. Mike also worked as a BizDev at Arculus and held leadership positions at Violin Memory, Xyratex, Western Digital, and Adaptec. Mike started their career at Digital Equipment Corp, where they held multiple roles, including Servicenter Manager and Senior Support Engineer. Throughout their career, Mike has demonstrated expertise in driving business opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, managing technical teams, and providing sales and training materials.

Mike Thompson has an Associate of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which they obtained from Cal Tech Trade School/ITT Technical Institute. Mike also has a degree in Computer Science from Digital Equipment Corp School of Computer Science. Additionally, they attended the Miller Heiman Sales Academy, where they focused on Sales, Distribution, and Marketing Operations.
