Jeffrey Lumby

Jeffrey Lumby has extensive work experience in the financial industry. Jeffrey worked at Virtu Financial as the Head of Virtu Capital Markets and Managing Director from October 2019 to the present. Prior to that, they were on garden leave at Cantor Fitzgerald from July 2018 to October 2019. Jeffrey Lumby also had a long tenure at Cantor Fitzgerald from 2001 to 2018, where they held the positions of Senior Managing Director, Head of ATM Programs, and Head of Equity Capital Markets. Jeffrey was responsible for creating and running the equity capital markets function at the firm and built a successful ATM offering franchise. Jeffrey filed numerous ATMs, consistently ranking #1 in ATM volume. Additionally, they originated and structured "special situations" block trades and corporate stock repurchase programs. Before their time at Cantor Fitzgerald, Jeffrey Lumby worked at Cowen and Company (formerly Ramius Securities/RCGBP) as the Director of Equity Capital Markets. Jeffrey was a part of a broker-dealer group funded by Ramius Capital (now Cowen) and focused on creating an equity capital markets business with a specialization in ATM offerings. Jeffrey successfully originated and filed the first REIT and Energy ATM programs.
