Jim Adkins

Jim Adkins is an advisor at Virtual Badge, a previous vice president of procurement and LEAN coach at Chromalloy, and change agent. Jim is responsible for the global procurement of direct and indirect materials, vendor management, goods and services; development of business strategy and supply chain risk management for the operation of Chromalloy's 20+ international locations. Their focus is in 4 major areas, including: Commercial Aviation, Military, Energy and Aeroderivative. Jim achieved results using LEAN, 6-Sigma (DMAIC), and TOC.

Jim Adkins has a BS in Engineering-Physics from the United States Air Force Academy, an MS in International Relations from Troy University, and a PhD in Physics from the University of Maryland. Jim is also certified in Lean Six Sigma Black Belt from Doosan/Bobcat and has Acquisition Management and Engineering Project Management certifications from the Department of Defense.
