Joseph Paresi

Joseph Paresi is currently an advisor at Virtual Badge. Joseph has over 25 years of experience in the security industry. Joseph was previously the Executive Vice President and co-founder of L-1 Identity Solutions. While at L-1, they developed strategy, analyzed companies and opportunities, and raised funding to acquire companies that resulted in L-1 Identity Solutions, Inc. Prior to L-1, Joseph was the President of L-3 Security and Detection Systems and Corporate VP of Product Development at L-3 Communications. Joseph started L-3 Security & Detection Systems and developed the FAA/TSA Certified eXaminer 3Dx Explosives Detection System. Before Lockheed Martin, Joseph was the Director of Technology at Loral Defense Systems.

Joseph Paresi began their educational career by earning a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College. Joseph then transitioned into Program Management and earned a degree in Defense Program Management from the Defense Systems Management College. After a few years working in the field, they decided to return to school and earn a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Manhattan College and Pace University - Lubin School of Business. Joseph also holds an MBA/APC in Finance from Pace University - Lubin School of Business.
