Bob Scurlock, Ph.D. has worked in various roles since 2000. Bob began their career as a Research Assistant in Physics at the University of Florida, where they performed independent data analysis using genetic algorithms and prepared and delivered lectures and exams for undergraduate physics courses. In 2008, they established Scurlock Scientific Services, LLC and has been actively engaged in vehicular accident reconstruction studies and litigation support for over a decade. In 2015, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Virtual CRASH, a general purpose physics simulation tool primarily for motor vehicle accident reconstruction. In 2018, they became the Chief Executive Officer of Crash Animation Studios, LLC, where they help attorneys maximize verdicts and settlements while keeping forensic animation production costs low.
Bob Scurlock, Ph.D. obtained their education from the University of Florida. Bob earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Experimental Physics in 2006, a Master's Degree in Physics in 2002, and a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and a Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy, both in 2000. Bob also earned a Minor in Mathematics in 2000. Bob Scurlock, Ph.D. also holds certifications from the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction, University of North Florida Institute of Police Technology and Management, and the University of North Florida Institute of Police Technology and Magaement. These certifications include Advanced Pedestrian/Bicycle Crash Investigation, Event Data Recorder Use in Traffic Crash Reconstruction, Human Factors in Traffic Crash Reconstruction, Investigation of Motorcycle Crashes, and Occupant Kinematics for the Traffic Crash Reconstructionist.
