Gal Afik

Gal Afik is an accomplished professional with a diverse background in game development, software engineering, and education. As the Founder of Mythos Interactive since March 2019, Gal is preparing to launch a collection of 11 games on Steam. Prior experiences include serving as a Staff Serious Games Developer at Virtual Heroes, where Gal specialized in VR/MR training simulations, and as a Software Engineer at Deutsche Bank, focusing on SQL Server Integration Services for financial databases. Additional roles include instructing STEM programs at Zaniac Learning, developing a NoSQL database system at Quotient, and various internships that provided a foundation in software and web development. Gal holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from the University of Maryland Baltimore County.
