Abigail Smith

Abigail Smith began their career in 2016 as a Nanny for the Miller, Williams Family. In 2018, they worked as a Barista for Scooter's Coffee and a Sales Associate for Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse. In 2019, Abigail worked as an Injury Prevention and Care Staff, Memorial Stadium Suite Staff, and Biological Systems Engineering Ambassador for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Abigail also worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant for the University of Nebraska Athletic Performance Lab. In 2020, Abigail was a Biomedical Engineer and Biomedical Engineer Intern at ARYSE®. Currently, they are a Biomedical Engineer at Virtual Incision Corp where they design, develops, and tests all aspects of medical/surgical components, equipment, and instruments, interfaces with cross functional teams to ensure the usability of such devices, and works with cross-functional teams to test prototypes.

Abigail Smith graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2021 with a degree in Biological Systems Engineering, specializing in Biomedical/Medical Engineering. Prior to this, they attended Notre Dame de Sion School, graduating with a High School Diploma in 2017.
