R&D Project Manager at Virtual Incision

Kylie Hershberger has worked in the medical device industry since 2014. Kylie began their career as a Knee Development Co-Op at Zimmer Biomet in 2014, where they assessed functional relationships of legacy products and remediated legacy design history and risk management files. In 2015, they were a Development Engineering Co-Op at Zimmer Biomet, where they authored a research report analyzing the hyperextension fatigue life of a limb salvage system and developed test methods and performed testing to evaluate a revision system. In 2016, they were a Marketing Communications Intern at Zimmer Biomet, where they coordinated review and approval of marketing materials across all different business segments. In 2018, they became a Senior I Development Engineer and Development Engineer at Zimmer Biomet, where they designed new surgical instrumentation for use in total knee arthroplasty and led a team as project manager through verification and validation activities. In 2022, they became a R&D Project Manager at Virtual Incision.

Kylie Hershberger completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Iowa in 2017. Kylie then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering at Trinity College Dublin in 2018. In 2013, they also participated in a Study Abroad program at CIMBA.
