Norvisi Addo

Norvisi Addo has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of information security and technology. Norvisi started their career as a Senior Lecturer/Systems Administrator at IPMC in 2007, where they lectured students and supervised their projects. Norvisi then worked as a Systems Engineer and later as the Deputy IT Manager at ACS BPS Ghana Limited from 2009 to 2013. During this time, they were responsible for maintaining and servicing user accounts, operating systems, and implementing security measures.

Following this, Norvisi joined BEIGE Capital as the IT Infrastructure Team Lead from 2013 to 2017, where they managed the IT infrastructure team and ensured service delivery on networks, servers, emails, and computer systems. Norvisi then moved on to Accolm, where they served as the Manager of IT Security and Managed Services from 2017 to 2018. In this role, they analyzed IT system requirements, implemented network security designs, and conducted vulnerability testing.

From 2018 to 2021, Norvisi worked at PwC as an Assistant Manager, specializing in cyber risk and privacy management. Their responsibilities included supporting large projects related to information security and technology risk management, as well as designing key risk indicators and metrics.

Most recently, Norvisi held the position of Chief Information Security Officer at First Atlantic Bank Ghana from 2021 to 2023, where they were responsible for ensuring information security in new IT and business projects, managing existing information security processes, and driving improvements in the business' security landscape.

Currently, Norvisi works as the Head of Security Operations at Virtual InfoSec Africa Limited since 2023.

Norvisi Addo obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science and Physics from the University of Ghana from 2003 to 2007. In terms of additional certifications, Norvisi Addo holds various certifications in the field of information technology and security, including Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management, Cisco Certified Network Associate, and multiple Microsoft certifications. Norvisi Addo has also obtained certifications in ethical hacking, information security management, and cyber security management, among others.
