Mike McQueen

Mike McQueen has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Mike currently holds the position of Virtual CIO at Virtual IT Omaha, where they have been working since November 2022. Additionally, they are the Owner of ODP Advisors, LLC since October 2021.

Prior to their current roles, Mike worked as a Sr. Solutions Engineer at Virtual IT Omaha from January 2021 to February 2023. Mike also served as a PC Specialist at Omaha Public Schools from June 2019 to July 2022.

Prior to that, Mike worked as an Application Support Specialist at LeaseTeam, Inc. from September 2012 to January 2014.

Their earliest known role was as an Audio Visual Technician at J&S Audio Visual, where they started in November 2009 and ended in June 2011. In this role, they were responsible for setting up, operating, and tearing down Audio/Visual equipment for conferences and parties. Mike also attended B2B trade shows to network with potential customers and business partners, and handled billing for orders.

Mike McQueen has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in CyberSecurity from Bellevue University, which they obtained in 2017. Prior to that, they earned an Associate's degree in Network and System Administration/Administrator from ITT Technical Institute-Omaha, where they attended from 2013 to 2015. In 2011, Mike attended Navy IT "A" School to pursue Information Technology, although it is not specified if they obtained a degree from there. Mike has also obtained additional certifications, including MCPS: Microsoft Certified Professional from Microsoft in December 2011 and Security+ from CompTIA in February 2018.
