Carey Glines

Carey Glines has an extensive work experience spanning several roles and organizations. Their most recent position is as the School Principal (Director, Full-Time Programs & K-12 Students) at Virtual Learning Academy Charter School, starting in May 2022. Prior to this, Carey held various leadership positions at Southern New Hampshire University, including Vice President of Integrated Student Experience & Success, Vice President of Enrollment Management & Student Success, Dean of Student Success & Retention, Director of Academic Advising, Assistant Director of Academic Advising, and Academic Advisor. They also worked as a French Teacher at North Medford High School and Souhegan High School. In addition, Carey served as an Academic Assistant at the University of New Hampshire.

Carey Glines completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Studies/International Affairs at the University of New Hampshire from 1997 to 2001. Following this, they earned a Master of Education degree in Counseling from the same institution, studying there from 2001 to 2004. Carey then enrolled at Southern New Hampshire University, where they acquired a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management, completing the program in 2008. Additionally, during that same time period, from 2004 to 2008, Carey pursued a Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Southern New Hampshire University.
