Ellie Hands

Ellie Hands is a Proposal Manager at Virtual Peaker since March 2023, previously serving as the Scientific Community Manager at SPUN | Society for the Protection of Underground Networks from June 2022 to April 2023. Prior to that, Ellie worked at Fred Hutch from July 2020 to July 2022, holding positions as Laboratory Data Manager and Laboratory Data Coordinator, where responsibilities included liaising between assay labs and coordinating data for HIV and COVID vaccine clinical trials. Additional experience includes roles in trail maintenance with AmeriCorps, Nordic ski coaching with Big Sky Ski Education Foundation, laboratory research internship at MBio Diagnostics, and proposal administration at Tendril. Ellie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Bowdoin College and studied abroad at the University of Otago.
