Matthew Stewart, PhD, currently serves as Chief Technology Officer at Harbor.ai, Data Privacy Scientist at Dandelion Health, and a member of the Forbes Technology Council, among other roles. As Research Director at MLCommons, Matthew coordinates machine learning projects aimed at public good. At Harvard University, Matthew works as a Postdoctoral Researcher focusing on innovations in engineering and computing, including autonomous vehicle technology and machine learning sensors. Matthew's expertise is further utilized as an AI Advisor on the Virtual Protocol Advisory Council. With a strong commitment to knowledge democratization, Matthew writes for Towards Data Science and has previously contributed to HarvardX, while also gaining valuable teaching experience at Harvard University. Matthew holds a PhD and Master's in Engineering Sciences from Harvard University and a joint BEng/MEng in Mechanical Engineering from Imperial College London.
