Edgar Barrientos is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software development and architecture, currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer and Solutions Architect Team Lead at Virtuoso Travel since January 2022. Notable achievements include the implementation of Azure Container Applications, disaster recovery solutions, and an event-driven architecture utilizing both Azure Functions and Kafka. Prior to Virtuoso, Edgar held senior roles at Cognizant, Inservco Insurance Services, PGBC, Deloitte, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and Foxconn, where responsibilities encompassed leading development teams, managing the software development life cycle, and executing complex migration projects.
