Uzo Okpala has a diverse work experience, beginning with a voluntary experience as a Lecturer at Tower Innovation College in 2010. In 2009, they completed an internship as an Assistant Network Administrator at Centerquest Enterprises. In 2011, they began working at EZ37 Solutions Limited as a Business Information System Administrator and HR Support. In 2013, they worked at the University of Greenwich as a Central Recruitment Services Enquiry Unit Support and Recruitment Ambassador. In 2014, they worked at Meccar Imex as an Information System Support Officer. In 2015, they worked at Three. as a Retail Associate and Management Support. From 2016 to 2020, they worked at ROQ - Making Software Work, beginning as a Test Analyst and working their way up to Senior Test Analyst. Uzo is currently employed at Virtuoso as a Customer Success Manager.

Uzo Okpala completed a Master's Degree in Management of Business Information Technology from the University of Greenwich from 2013 to 2014. Uzo then went on to complete a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in International Business from Cardiff Metropolitan University from 2014 to 2015.
