Daniel McCarthy Beng Ieng Miet

Daniel McCarthy BEng IEng MIET has extensive experience in the electrical engineering field, currently serving as Cluster Technical Manager and Campus Technical Manager at VIRTUS Data Centres since August 2019. Notable achievements include overseeing the upgrade project of Stockley Park Sub-Stations from 11kV to 66kV. Prior to this, Daniel held various positions at Rolls-Royce between 2009 and 2019, advancing from Senior Electrical Engineer to Electrical Technician, managing electrical projects and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Earlier experience includes working as an Electrician at AMEC, with significant contributions to the UK’s West Coast Mainline Power and Signaling Upgrade. Daniel's educational qualifications include a BEng in Electrical and Electronics Engineering and an HND in Engineering Systems from UHI North Highland.
