Barry M. Mandinach

EVP & Head of Distribution at Virtus Investment Partners

Barry M. Mandinach is the current Executive Vice President and Head of Distribution at Virtus Investment Partners. Prior to this, they held various positions at different companies including UBS, Phoenix Investment Partners, PACE Select Funds, and Zweig Mutual Funds.

Barry started their career in 1981 at Drexel Burnham Lambert in sales and product management. In 1989, they became a partner and co-founder at Zweig Mutual Funds. Barry then moved to Phoenix Investment Partners in 1999 where they served as Chief Sales and Marketing Officer. In 2001, they began working at UBS in their Global Asset Management division where they eventually became the Head of Wholesale Distribution and Chief Marketing Officer.

Most recently, Barry has been a Board Member at PACE Select Funds from 2010 to 2013. In December 2013, they left UBS to take on their current role as Executive Vice President and Head of Distribution at Virtus Investment Partners.

After graduating from Emory University with a BS in Political Science and Government, Barry M. Mandinach attended the University of Miami School of Law, where they earned their JD.

They work with Michael A. Angerthal - Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, W. Patrick Bradley - Executive Vice President, Fund Services, and Richard W. Smirl - EVP & Chief Operating Officer. Barry M. Mandinach reports to George R. Aylward, President & CEO.
