James Taylor

James Taylor has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry. James is currently the Managing Director and Head of Internal Sales at Virtus Investment Partners since January 2020. Prior to this, they worked at AllianceBernstein as the Managing Director and Head of US Retail Internal Sales from May 2015 to September 2019. From November 2011 to May 2015, they were the Vice President of Distribution Business Intelligence at OppenheimerFunds. James also held various roles at OppenheimerFunds, including Vice President of Sales Desk Manager from March 2000 to November 2011 and Regional Sales Representative from July 1997 to March 2000. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Financial Advisor at Argent Securities from 1996 to 1997 and Patterson Travis Inc. from 1995 to 1996.

James Taylor attended Rutgers University from 1990 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Administration of Justice. During their time at Rutgers, Taylor focused on studying fields such as Criminal Law, Forensics, and Psychology.
