Jie Wei (Jay)

Jie (Jay) Wei is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in portfolio management and quantitative strategies. Currently serving as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Virtus Investment Partners since July 2022, Jie previously held senior roles at Allianz Global Investors from June 2020 to July 2022 and as Executive General Manager at PingAn Asset Management from April 2018 to May 2020. Jie's career in finance began as a Portfolio Manager for Allianz Global Investors between July 2008 and April 2018, preceded by positions as a Quant Strategist at GMN and GSA Capital, and a Staff Scientist at Stone Analytics. Jie holds a Master of Financial Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master of Science in Computer Science from the National University of Singapore, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Wuhan University.
