Kunal Ghosh

Kunal Ghosh has extensive work experience in the investment industry. Kunal currently serves as the Chief Investment Officer at Virtus Investment Partners, where they began in 2022. Additionally, in the same year, they became an Investment Committee Member at the Girls Scout of San Diego. Prior to these roles, Kunal Ghosh held the position of Chief Investment Officer Systematic Equities at Allianz Global Investors from 2006 to 2022, where they built a successful team and developed a unique Behavioral Finance Model. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Portfolio Manager at Barclays Global Investors from 2003 to 2006, and as a Production Engineer at Delphi Automotive Systems from 1998 to 2003.

Kunal Ghosh began their education journey in 1982 at Narendrapur, where they completed their High School education, specifically Grade X. Kunal then attended Kendriya Vidyalaya from 1988 to 1990 for their High School education, earning their HS degree. Moving forward, Kunal pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur between 1990 and 1994. Later, they completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Materials Engineering from The University of British Columbia from 1994 to 1996. To further enhance their knowledge in the field of Finance, Kunal enrolled at Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, completing their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance between 2001 and 2003.
