W. Howard Morris

W. Howard Morris is president and chief investment officer of The Prairie & Tireman Group, providing investment management and personal financial planning to high-net-worth individuals. Prior to founding the firm, he was president and chief investment officer at WILMOCO Capital Management, where he managed portfolios for institutions. For three years he was chief executive officer and emergency financial manager for the Inkster Public Schools with authority over the district’s financial and operational matters. He was appointed to that position after serving as the chief financial officer of the Detroit Public Schools. Mr. Morris is a member of the Board of Directors of Owens Corning Corp. and the Michigan State Tax Commission. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and holds Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) designations.
