Josiah Brand

Josiah Brand has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years. Josiah currently serves as the COO at Virunga Power, a position they have held since August 2019. Prior to that, Josiah worked at AlixPartners for almost six years, starting as a Director in September 2013 and leaving in July 2019. Before their time at AlixPartners, they were a Manager at EY from August 2010 to August 2013. Josiah began their professional career in the United States Marine Corps, where they served as a Platoon Commander from June 2006 to July 2010.

Josiah Brand attended The Wharton School from 2002 to 2006. During this time, they did not obtain any specific degree or field of study. Later, in the same period from 2002 to 2006, Josiah pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. After some time gap, in 2015, Josiah also pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Columbia Business School and London Business School, respectively, though no specific start year was mentioned for these programs.
