Paul Kabiru

Paul Kabiru has worked as a Project Engineer at Virunga Power since June 2019. Prior to that, they were a Protection and SCADA Intern at Kenya Electricity Transmission Company Limited from March 2018 to February 2019. In 2018, they were an Electrical Engineering Trainee at Amiran Kenya Ltd for a month. In 2017, they were an Industrial Automation Trainee at Centurion Systems Ltd for a month. In 2016, they served as a Technical Intern at Rural Electrification Authority for two months. In 2015, they were a Technical Intern at Sarova Hotels, where they performed routine checks and servicing of electrical machinery and equipment. In 2014, they also worked as a Technical Intern at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Paul Kabiru has a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems) from the Pan African University Institute for Basic Sciences, Technology and Innovation (PAUSTI), which they obtained from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology between 2012 and 2017. In addition to their formal education, Paul Kabiru has also obtained certifications in Programmable Logic Control (PLC) and SCADA from Centurion Systems Ltd, in October 2017 and August 2017 respectively.
