Guðný Helga Herbertsdóttir

Guðný Helga Herbertsdóttir has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in different companies. Guðný Helga began their career as a Business Journalist at 365 in 1997 and worked there until 2010. Guðný Helga then joined Íslandsbanki as the Head of Communications and CSR in 2011, where they stayed until 2015. Following that, they worked at Landspitali University Hospital as the Head of Communications in 2015 and 2016. In 2016, they became the Marketing Director at VÍS Insurance Ltd, but transitioned to the role of Managing Director Digital in 2017. Guðný Helga later served as the Managing Director of LÍFÍS from 2021 to 2023. From April 2022 to March 2023, Guðný was the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) at VÍS Insurance Ltd. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Executive Officer at the same company starting from January 2023.

Guðný Helga Herbertsdóttir completed their AMP degree at the IESE Business School in 2022. Guðný Helga obtained a Master's degree in European law and business from Aarhus University between 2005 and 2008. In 2004, they received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Háskóli Íslands. Additionally, they pursued studies in Digital Leadership at the IESE business school in New York starting in 2017.
