Tirtha Sarkar

Tirtha Sarkar is a seasoned professional in software engineering with over 25 years of experience. Currently serving as Chief Software Engineer at Visa since May 2008, Tirtha previously worked as a Technical Consultant at RS Software from March 1999 to April 2008. Tirtha's career began at Siemens, where a role as Senior Executive in Engineering & Software Development focused on Power Transmission & Distribution from March 1995 to February 1999 took place. Additionally, Tirtha gained early experience as a Graduate Apprentice in Industrial Electronics at Philips from November 1993 to May 1994. Tirtha holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur, completed in 1993.
