Asaf R. has extensive experience in the financial and technology sectors, currently serving as the Head of the EU Visa Direct Ecosystem and Deputy CEO of Visa Israel since May 2019. Previous roles include Senior Product Manager at Visa, Head of Business Development for the Credit unit at Isracard, and Co-Founder of Finupp.com, where Asaf focused on enhancing tax processes in Israel. Earlier in the career, Asaf worked as a Transaction Services & Tax Specialist at EY, a Melbourne Branch Manager at Tescom, and a Law Intern at Gornitzky & Co. Asaf began the professional journey as a Psychometric Guide and served as an Intelligence Specialist in the Israel Defense Forces. Asaf holds a Master of Science in Management Information Systems from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Laws from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
