Ashton Sein

Ashton Sein is currently serving as an Associate US Economist at Visa, a position held since September 2025. Prior to this role, Ashton worked at Grosvenor as a Senior Research Analyst and Research Analyst from July 2021 to September 2025, contributing to sustainable projects within a leading international property development firm. Academic experience includes positions at the University of California, Davis, such as Graduate Student Grader, Peer Advisor, and MURALS Scholar, enriching understanding of economics through research, student advising, and course assistance. Additionally, Ashton has a solid background in data management and statistical analysis, demonstrated through roles in various research capacities, including as a Research Assistant and within the Center for Regional Change. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Agricultural & Resource Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Business/Managerial Economics, both from the University of California, Davis.
