Benjamin K. is the Senior Counsel for Data Protection and Cybersecurity at Visa, where they lead the global Cyber Legal function. Prior to this role, Benjamin served as Associate General Counsel for Cybersecurity at the National Security Agency from 2021 to 2023, and as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the United States Attorneys' Offices from 2016 to 2017. Benjamin also clerked for the Honorable Donna Stroud at the North Carolina Court of Appeals between 2012 and 2014. They are currently a Founding Member of the Cyber Counsel Group, a professional association for in-house cybersecurity lawyers. Benjamin earned their Master of Laws in International and Comparative Law from Duke University School of Law in 2012.
