Following this, they served as a Judicial Extern for the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit in 2013, advising Judge Carlos Bea. Clinton progressed to the Federal Reserve Board, where they worked as a Senior Attorney from 2013 to 2019, focusing on payments, fintech, and consumer protection. They then held consecutive positions at Visa, first as Counsel and later as Senior Counsel in Global Regulatory Affairs, from 2019 to 2024, before taking on the role of Senior Managing Counsel.
