Congwei Dang is the Head of Data Science at Visa Consulting & Analytics Japan, holding the position of Senior Director since 2025. Previously, Congwei served as an Expert and Principal Data Scientist at McKinsey & Company and QuantumBlack from 2023 to 2025. Prior to that, Congwei was a Lead Data Scientist and Project Leader at BCG GAMMA from 2018 to 2023 and managed data science projects at Accenture from 2014 to 2018. Congwei earned a Ph.D. in Information and Communication from The University of Tokyo and a Master’s in Computer Science and Technology from Xi'an Jiaotong University. Their career began as a Project Leader at NEC Soft, Ltd. from 2004 to 2011.
