Devon Grant

Devon Grant is a Senior Patent Counsel at Visa since March 2021, overseeing patent-related matters in a global payments technology environment. With previous experience as a Patent Attorney at BakerHostetler and Cantor Colburn LLP, Devon has extensive expertise in patentability evaluations across various technologies. This includes roles at TomTom, where management of patent prosecution teams occurred, and as an Independent Consultant managing domestic patent preparations. Earlier experience includes positions at Cisco and Sun Microsystems, with a strong educational background comprising a JD from Howard University School of Law, a Mini-MBA from Rutgers Business School, and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. Additionally, Devon serves as a 2023 LCLD Fellow with the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity.
