Dulguun Batbold

Dulguun Batbold is an accomplished economist with extensive experience in leveraging payment transaction data for economic analysis. Most recently, Dulguun served as Director and Global Economist at Visa from 2015 to 2023, where leadership was provided in developing innovative economic indicators and delivering data-driven insights for senior leadership globally. Prior roles include serving as a Global Economist at Visa, where Dulguun led the research and development of the Spending Momentum Index, and as an Associate International Economist, focusing on advanced uses of VisaNet data. Earlier experience includes working as a Research Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis and as an Instructor at the University of Minnesota. Dulguun's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Applied Economics from the University of Minnesota and a B.S. in Economics and Finance from the University of Maryland.
