Elham Ahmadi

Elham Ahmadi, Ph.D., is a Staff Data Scientist specializing in Recommender Systems at Visa. Previously, Elham held various roles at RBC, including Data Science Lead and senior positions, where work focused on Location Intelligence projects that integrated geospatial data with machine learning and artificial intelligence techniques. Elham also served as a Data Innovation Manager, optimizing pipelines for feature engineering and model scoring. Prior to these roles, Elham obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Alberta, where research centered on optimization in geospatial databases.
