Enrique D.

Enrique D. is an accomplished professional in the fields of inclusion, diversity, and engineering education. Currently serving as a Director at Visa since January 2022, Enrique D. focuses on addressing social injustice and racial inequity within the company and communities. Prior to this role, Enrique D. spent a decade at the Cockrell School of Engineering, The University of Texas at Austin, where as Director, the emphasis was on improving the recruitment, retention, and graduation rates of underrepresented engineering students. Additionally, as University Co-Director of the UT Systems LSAMP, efforts were made to diversify the STEM workforce through innovative strategies for nurturing historically underrepresented groups in STEM. Enrique D.'s career also includes experience as a Project Manager at Turner Construction Company, where leadership in project coordination and engineering was demonstrated, along with early roles that contributed to the success of educational programs. Educational achievements include a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
